In response to feedback from our users, we have added a fourth level to the top navigation.
Q & A
Q: It is very hard to find what you are looking for from the root navigation through to the topic you want. I had to find details on grouped products by searching instead A: We added another level to the menu, so the product types are now included. In addition to the top navigation, you can use the mini TOC that appears on pages that have child topics, and the breadcrumb trail to back up a level. Search is also a pretty good way to find things. To explore the guide in a more linear fashion, try the Contents page. Q: Why does all the text on the page turn blue when I hover over anything? A: (FIXED) This issue was caused by a change in how namespaces are implemented in Chrome 47.

New Look
The user guide has a fresh new look with top navigation. To learn more, see: Getting Started.
The content is the same, and the file names have not changed. However, some of the topics in the navigation have been rearranged to fit the space.
Take note that the URLs no longer include the “#” reference to the previous tri-pane frameset. To avoid broken links, we will redirect the major topics. However, we recommend that you also update any existing links or shortcuts that point to specific pages in the user guide.
The new navigation includes Contents and Glossary pages. However, the content that was previously on the Index tab is no longer available. Although the Previous button is no longer included, you can use the Back button in the browser to return to the previous page.

From the Editor
Going forward, the PDF user guide will be updated only for releases that introduce new features and functional changes to the product. The online user guide reflects the most current version of the documentation, and includes release notes for all maintenance releases and security patches.

We now have a documentation archive in the Appendix with PDF downloads of user guides from previous releases.
Also starting with this release, the online Configuration Reference is complete and fully integrated with the HTML user guide. The captions below all configuration screenshots are linked to the related field descriptions in the online Configuration Reference, so you can bounce between the two. All other lists of field descriptions related to the configuration have been removed from the user guide. Although the caption links in the PDF are in place, they’re not yet working. That’s the next step in the process, and we’ll let you know when they’re done.
Speaking of links, we’ve had mixed results with the links in the mini guides because they work only if the linked topic is included in the document. For this reason, we have decided to no longer include the five mini guides as part of the documentation set. Most people find the HTML to be more convenient, and it is now our primary documentation.
